Nookpoet, if you look at this line this addresses just this issue. div.poem-rw p, div.poem-rw p + p { text-indent: -1.3em;
margin-left: 1.3em; }. A line is a paragraph. If it flows over it gets negative 1.3em indent. In fact this would be better if it was a little larger for poetry. This is not a structural issue but a presentation consideration.

The big deal now is does the device handle the CSS. This is CSS-1, you would think they should, but its all about testing.
